Any free camping sites around Sydney suitable for Caravans

Gate is still there, I took my kids with the boat a few weeks ago. It's $6 to get in. I'd forgotten about the gate, so had to get change there....

Great spot, I couldn't find fish this time though (not unusual for me!).

What was the water level like as when the tree snags start appearing they can be good fishing, used to get a bit of success if you head upstream where the river runs from and fish amongst the snags.

We can't help with free camping in Sydney but have found that Lane Cove Caravan Park is relatively cheap and has fantastic access to the city via train (which is walking distance) and is close to supermarkets etc. the daily ticket will get you on the ferry as well. It's set in a tiny national park you drive in from urban areas and suddenly you're in a little bushland area. You'll probably save enough on parking and fuel to make it worthwhile. Just a thought.....
