Another new 17.56-2 to add to the expanda forum

Hi All,

We have been hunting around for a good 2nd hand van but in the end we have put a deposit down on a new van THanks Soaring for the good advice. We are a young family who have done a lot off road hard core 4wding and now its time for a bit of luxury for a little while till the kids get older then go back to a camper trailer.

We have gone the extended draw bar as well and outdoor shower , bigger fridge etc.Also decided to get rid of the single table and have a permanant bottom single bed bunk so we have more storage room etc.

No we are madly trying to get rid of our aussie swag hard floor camper trailer.

We are super excited about getting our van and look forward to some qld meet ups with some more fellow Expandas.

It's the longest wait in the world, but well worth it. We have only swapped to an expanda this year after being in a camper, so much more comfortable. Good luck with it, look forward to hearing the stories and adventures.

What A/C did you decide on?

Hey Cruza,

went either the roof top a/c in the end as they are standard now. The question was more when we were looking at 2nd hand, to give us more choice. But in the end the price was to good to pass up.

looking flawed to some drear adventures in it, might be a little tamer than the trailer sideways in the mud behind me, but a different challenge all the same.
