Yesterday I dropped the van off for warranty work and asked them to check out the fridge gas operation as in my other post. In all the conversation regards other work I forgot to ask about the 12v connection so thought I may get an opinion here.
In checking out the 12 wiring in the back of the fridge to see if I could fit a fridge switch I put a multimetre across the 12v terminal block +&- and noticed a voltage reading of around 7v with the battery switch on and about 4v with it off. The car was not connected. I thought that the fridge was wired direct to the car only so where was this reading coming from.
I should add that the fridge was off at the time.
Thanks
Terry
