17' Series Aircon just stopped

I'm pretty sure there are inline units around otherwise just plug in jobs for fridge etc, AC could be adapted to run through a GPO at the mains switch, just be a pain to set up. Something to look into for sure.................

Ended up being a power spike that fried the circuit board.

Are you shore?This fuse is ment to blow to protect the main board?In the two I have worked on it's been the fuse.

Yes seen the board it was fried. Tried a new fuse and blew it straight away. $650 bucks for a new board.

May not have been a surge just a short in board, doesn't take much really, heat/dust/moisture over time 2 seperate circuits aren't and fizz.
