Howdy every one we have a 2013 awd diesel territory thinking of fitting air bags to the rear has any one down it to any car if so do they help as we tow a large van thinking it will help

I fitted them to my Pathfinder because the factory recommends us not to use a WDH, yes they help but in my experience not as much as what others have reported.

Air bags on the back of my Ranger work a treat I don't use a WDH

I have the airbags but I am lazy and hate getting the compressor out everytime.

Yes its pretty nifty but I figure the effort installing it is probably about the same as a year worth of effort getting the compressor out of the bag and filling them up.

So for now I am not prepared to fork out my hard earned yet !

I have airbags on my Navara with the Incab controls, makes on the fly adjustments a breeze! Having an onboard compressor and tank is also very handy. My setup is absolutely level on 30psi (leaf spring setup) about 1/3 of the safe rating. No WDH, tows extremely well. I also got ESC installed, will never have a van without it.

Have airbags on the Landcruiser and also have Eazlift WDH.
After trying different ways with WDH and airbags now prefer to just use airbags and have ditched the WDH.

My uncle has this step up in his Colarado with his Sterling 23', really likes it. For me just like Xpandafan though 17' for us. Pace.

We use the the Polyair bags in our cruiser with a Hayman Reese WDH. Tried just using the Polyair's with no WDH but had too much bounce!!

I use one of these to pump up mine...


Only needs 1/2 dozen pumps and there is always one in the car with all the kids bikes we carry. Maybe I should get the kids to do it...!

I have a 2006 territory which I tow a 2012 expanda outback. I fitted air bags to the territory and found it to be great.i don't use wdh and found vehicle and van to sit quiet level.

What psi you run in them when towing ? and what psi with no load? i getting poly airs fitted this week

Different car but I run 28 loaded and around 10 unloaded!
