Have had this vehicle a month or 2 so thought it time to put something up. A while back I started a thread covering our decision over what option to buy between a DMax, BT50 and Colorado. BT50 won based on the very technical 'it felt right'. The car was to be a long term purchase as being poorly PAYG workers all of our spending comes from after tax dollars and we really can't afford to be turning vehicles over every 3 years. We managed to get a good deal on a July 2016 BT50 in GT spec which came with a towbar and window tinting. We added a factory snorkel and brake controller. Car only had 800kms on it and was only registered in March 17 so still got a good chunk of warranty. Pick up day:
Added a TJM Outback bar as I liked the built in recovery points and bumper replacement design:
Next stop was a canopy and we went with a Carryboy. A bit expensive but not as expensive as the ARB Ascent. We wanted a lift up one side and slider the other to keep the dog ventilated. Very happy with the fit and finish:
Have done a quick trip up the coast towing the van and love it. Plenty of power and feels very settled without a WDH. More updates as the bank balance allows
