Hey Darren, I bought my stone guard through Abba Caravans in Rockingham, Perth. The guard is made by JB Caravans and cost was $500 roughly. Might seem a bit steep, but I couldn't make something as neat as this one and it bolted straight to the A-frame.
Thanks GUlewis. I will check them out next week. What's another 500 on the mod list eh :greedy_dollars:

Does any one know the largest size storage box avalible for a 2014 17.56-2 with the extended A-frame? Im looking for a black checker plate model. Any options or plans appreciated.

I have a box, that I have designed and is now with a manufacturer for a quote, it will go on a 2014 17:56 1 with the extended chasis., and I have asked for it in Black Checker Plate also. When I get the quote and the final design I can let you know if you like. Box is approx 1800 by 920 in centre of van, side fan back to match the Deflector Stone Guard. Cheers Ben

To keep this thread up todate you can add Attard Sheet Metal in Lismore to the list.

They made up this box for me very happy.

Usual disclaimer I have known the guy for years but have no interests in the business.

Here is my recent modification to our 17.56 OB Expanda , Moved the gas bottles and installed 1000wx500hx600d ali toolbox purchased from blackwoods for $320, next step is to build a frame to house spare wheel under front of van as there is plenty of room.

Just the cost of box as I said was $320 plus consumables such as angle and welding materials and braided gas hose so I would guess no more than $500 all up

This is my box. Didn't want to go to wide and affect my turning circle. My cruiser has a kaymar tyre carrier.

Bottles are mounted back in original location with factory mounts. There are drain holes in the bottom behind each gas bottle. Also relocated the jack and factory mount into here as well.
