16' Series 2009 Expanda

We have just done our first trip in our recently purchased 2009 Expanda

On our return trip we travelled in the rain and realised today that the roof section that sits inside the van of the front bed had quiet a bit of water sitting in there.

Obviously it has come through the top of the front door, Has anyone else had this happen to them ?

Any suggestions on how to stop this?

Hi and welcome, this happened to my new van and Jayco fixed under warranty. Not sure exactly what they did, but silicone was mentioned. I'm sure someone else will advice on what and where.

welcome @Ejfraser lots of great people on here with heaps of knowledge

your leak suggests either there is a rubber seal missing / damaged
or
some sealing needs to be added

Welcome to the site and this issue has been mentioned before, someone will no doubt post a link to the thread or you can do a search, my bed is at the rear and hasn't had the problem.
You could run some chalk over the hard cover seal then close it up, reopen it and the chalk should show if it is sealing or not by leaving a mark all around, if it leaves an unbroken firm mark then look for the next obvious ingress point, possibly hinge.
