17' Series 1770 Camping Ground, Queens Birthday Long Weekend, 2013

Well that was a great quick getaway up to 1770 near Agnes Water for the Queens birthday week-end. Met up with Aaron and Crystalyn and unfortunately the camp ground muffed up their site. So they ended up opposite us.
Kids had a great time as always and weather was very kind to us.
Crystalyn, can you post some of your sightseeing pics on this thread.

Great shots Deano, looks like you had much better weather in 1770 than down here on the rainy Sunshine Coast (almost 100mm last 36hrs)
I love that park we go at least every Easter school holidays and maybe sneak in at September also. I have been lucky to have been on the waterfront sites last few years A15,19,22 etc just love sitting there in the afternoon at beer oclock watching the kids playing on the beach and the sun going down TOP SPOT. I wish I was as close as you.

We hope to take the boat up that way one day! Does Agnes Waters have the surf beach and 1770 the calm? I remember a surf beach when we were kids.....

That's right Andrea, 1770 is in protected waters and Agnes Water is the northernmost surf beach on the east coast

We had a fantastic time, it was great catching up with Deano and Kylie.

Our kids got on great and we look forward to enjoying another trip soon.
