I have a 2014 with the independant suspension and it sits great on the road behind the Patrol. Not sure exact height when travelling, but if you like I'll measure in the morning and let you know!
17' Series 17.56 - What is the Travel Height with new coil suspension

I have a 2014 17.56 -1, and it sits from ground to roof 2420mm, but then you have the height of the aircon unit above that, but couldn't reach to measure that.
Thanks for measuring mate. I am guessing from the profile photo that yours is an OB model.
When I measured the 2014, 14.44-4 OB with coil suspension it was 100mm higher than my 2012 14.44-4 OB with leaf suspension.
I assumed that would be the same across the range.

Thanks for everyone's help and advice! In the end we decided to stick with the standard suspension and not be brave and be the first with a standard van on coils.
We think we got a good price for the standard 17.56-1 at $44,700 with these extras:
