OK guys,

I know I can get this at any local Plumbers (but as far as I am aware I need to buy a 6m length).

Anyone know where I can source it by the metre (South Eastern Suburbs, Victoria)? I'm after a 3m length (or more specifically, 2.3m). Any plumbers local and on this board :boink:

Need to make a Bazooka to carry the anti flap kit around.

On a side note I've bought 2 of these bad boys (1 for each end)

and these brackets to go with it

So I'll screw a reasonably heavy gauge piece of angle to the frame just in front of the wheels and hang it there. It won't affect ground clearance (as I'll break the caravan door first) and it fit's nicely in front on the front tank underneath. I will have to hang it a little lower than the frame to miss the handbrake cable.

I had to go with 150mm to get the 2 x AFK and 2 x curved rafter bars - they wouldn't fit in a 100mm pipe and I didn't want to hang 2 x 100mm pipes.

The Big green Shed in QLD has it 150mm in 1m lengths and wanted $20/mt for it.....................I think the local Tradelink or was it Reese sold me a metre for $10...........I usually prefer the tip but when in a hurry, well, but you should be able to get a half length at plumber shop.

Problem with these is that I know two guys where 5 seconds and a ha ksaw has seen the end cut off and lost all their stuff anyway! But I suppose with whatever you do...where there's a will, there's a way!

could also try Carac in Dandenong.
They had then cut to length when I did similar on the camper previously.
Pretty sure they had just the tube or the whole kit back then.

Here is my 150 mm pipe mounted behind the axle to hold all my AFK. It's accessed from the driver's side because it is right behindView attachment 48166 View attachment 48167 the van step.
Thats where I first wanted it, but it will rub on the back of the mudflap (the jack point is slightly to close)

So I will be putting it in front of the wheels (my door is in front of the wheel). It will hang slightly lower than the water tank, but still higher than the door so if I hit the pipe I have most likely ripped the bottom of my door off anyway :-(
