HI all,
Soon ish we are going to sell our 2014 Territory, and 2014 Triton.
Looking to buy a 100 series Auto petrol - prefer V8 but will look at the 1fzfe if too good not to!
Thanks

I hope you have you're petrol stations all mapped out @jawk, you're gonna need them.

My son drives a petrol 100 series (V6) and he struggles to get 20l/100km around town not towing. Never been game to tow anything with it.

The V8's are a bit better.

I have a Turbo Diesel 100 series. I was getting 27l/100 towing the van, but have now fitted a DPChip and am down around 21l/100 towing, and 14l/100 around town.

Yeah we had a petrol 6 80 series for nearly ten years and they love a drink!
The V8 is a 'bit' better as you say.
Wont really worry us too much it will be parked up most of the time and only used for caravan and horse float duties - so not a daily driver.
Plus they are around $15k cheaper that TD !

Yeah almost identical situation to us, only used as a tow vehicle now (although we swapped the horse float for the caravan)

Been through the whole diesel / petrol dilemma. Had a number of diesel 4WD, patrol/ranger/landcruiser. The one that always brings a smile was the 4.8 petrol patrol. Plenty of go but always need to be close to a servo☺
