Hey all. Installed a shurflo water pump today so we can avoid having to use the hand pump in our 16.49 expanda. It's working but seems to be stuttering and faaarting at the tap. I ran it for a few minutes to see if it would clear but no luck. I think it might be an air leak somewhere. Has anyone any info that could assist.

I had an issue with air entering the system via the Hand Pump. I inserted a one way device into the water line to the hand pump and my issues went. I suppose I could have dismantled the hand pump and fixed the fitting, but as we didn't use it I thought the problem would resurface at a later date.
Hopes this helps.

If you only had a hand pump originally you would probably need a non return valve on your mains connection, once you have a pump on line you have a pressurized system so need to isolate all possible bleed points, does that make sense ? On my, lost count bourbon by now.
