Well I have a 17 and my Q100 fits perfectly in the back of the ute ... no trouble :)

Same here

We have the weber duffle bag for ours which would protect the van. I would think it would fit under the main table. It also fits between the buffet cupboard and seat near the front bed. We have the high lid baby q and there is no way if would fit in the front boot of our 17

Hi All,
Being a owner of a Baby Q120, I was curious to find out if anyone has a Ziegler & Brown BBQ? How do they find the cooking style?
It has 2 burners, you can also cook with the lid open.
Cheers Deano

We have the Beef Eater Sportzgrill and it is 100% amazing. Couldn't be more happy with it. My husband is the BBQ cook and he rates it better than the weber. We came across this one after seeing the boys from 2chefstv.com.au do most of their shows on this one. We got our from Appliances online and you canan also get a carry bag and cover as extras.
The Sportzgrill can be used with legs or as a tabletop BBQ. And not only is it a BBQ but if you take off the grill plates and replace with the other extra stove top plate it can be used as a stove top too. Great for spag Bol outdoors!
It's a great all rounder with many features.
Can you tell I'm a fan!

We have the 17.56-2 we travel with ours (baby q) in the shower. Just always give it a good clean on pack up. Best trick is to let it run on high for 10-15 minutes after cooking with lid down. It will help burn of any excess grease/oil. Use tin foil in the tray, then bin that after every use. Saves on heaps of foil trays. We remove from the van on return home.

Agree with 17triton. We use the Q100 for just about all cooking when away. So impressed the first time we used it we went and got the 220 for home use when we returned.... Love 'em both.

Just another thought!
Will the 220 or baby q fit in the front compartment?
I know brad did a great mod but not sure what weber you had brad
Also your van is the 18 series I believe
Is the 17 series same size compartment?
HTR I have the Weber Q 220 and it fits in my 18.57.6 OB in the front boot. With a bit of magic the stand also fits on top. Get yourself a 3 to 4m gas hose for the gas bayonet on the draw bar. I only have a two metre one and I am sick of cooking (almost) under my bed.

HTR, we have a 17.56 and baby q goes in a $1 blue Ikea bag (double handles) then sits on tarp on lower bunk next to chairs which are strapped down

We have a 3 metre hose for the rear bayonet. Works well at the rear. My local BBQ Galore was going to make 6 metre hose for $40 but I don't think it would reach to the front beds. As for installing another bayonet, I think that might be costly.
cheers Deano

We brought a gas mate folding hooded BBQ, same cooking area as a Webber Q but fits in the front storage area as it folds up. I did like the webers but couldn't fit them in the storage area and hate having extra to pack in the car each time we go away.

We have the Weber Q120 and cooked up a storm while we were away over the school holidays ... managed to fit a 1.5 kg pork and 1.5 kg lamb in it at the same time and cooked to perfection! Also cooked pizza, cupcakes and caramel tarts! We bought a plate for it but this is still sitting in its box - for bacon and eggs and any marinated meats we use a BBQ-ezy rigid sheet which are .35mm thick and can be found on eBay. We are a family of 4 and use the baby Q 3-4 days a week - next buy will be a Q300 with a high lid for home ...!
