Hi All, as we are nearing the end of 2012, has anyone heard of any big changes coming to the 17" series? any major improvements or is all quiet on any new release details?

Heard a distant rumour new option is bed lids are going to have barn doors intergrated which will act as side protection then light weight flip up from under bed 270o rotation will act as width protection.
This too could mean insurance problem solved re CIL. Anyone else heard this. Pace.

I have ordered a 17.56.1 and so far all I've heard about is a new range of fabrics and laminates that I got emailed yesterday
Have you asked the salesman if he has a plan of the 2013 van?

Hi hit the road, Did you get some new fabrics emailed through for 2013? Are you able to forward the email by any chance? Are there any decent changes? Surely the red has to go?
I reckon 2012 was a bad year for fabrics. (unless you love the 70's) We can all hope 2013 is better!
I heard there going to include solid bed ends and get rid of the canvas, no more insurance problems.

Led"s are march so I will miss out on that but the others he thinks are usually rolled out in jan

Tried to put the fabrics up but cant work out how to drag and paste them, maybe send me a pers message if anyone's interested and i can forward it as a pdf file which i can do!
I contacted the jayco dealer in Bendigo today to confirm any changes to the 2013 models. He couldn't send me a written copy as they haven't been publicly released by jayco yet but could talk about it. They will have new fabric colours and laminex as usual, the biggest change is air conditioning will be roof mount standard on all 17 series expandas but will come at a price between $500 and $1000 more. No other substantial changes to be made just some cosmetic work.

For those following this thread, I believe that yesterday was the due date for a few of the 2013 17.56-2's. I nearly secured one but my wife didn't like the available ordered colors at our dealer so we have to wait until March :s. I'll be calling in to the dealer this week to see if one has been delivered - I'll grab some photo's if there's one there!

Hopefully I will be getting mine in about 3~4 weeks , it should be one of the 17.56-2ob that rolled off the line this week.
