Hi all. Have decided I need a holiday, so we are off to Bungle Bungles in July school holidays.

It will only be myself and my 2 youngest. Plan is to leave Perth Saturday 3rd July , staying at BB van park from 7th to the 9th, then wandering home. Tossing up between booking the bus tour which includes cathedral and echidna, lunch and dinner, or to drive in and do it.

If anyone can give me a fairly recent comparison between the gibb and BB roads, that would be awesome, as have driven the gibb.
Thanks
:)

Oh no! So the $1100 (apprx) for the 3 of us is good value then? I snapped my antenna clean off heading up to mitchell's. Considering I still have 'the beast' (same 2016 cruiser), it isn't as young anymore, so possibly would be worth doing the tour. Out of curiosity @Crusty181 , what were you running your tyres at?

Ooooo, now that's a memory test. I think on the Navara my goto was around 25-28 if memory serves

We did bungles then GRR in 2019.
Bungles track was 1.75 hrs or so towing the van. Surface was similar to east end of GRR but far more twisty and lots of sharp climbs and descents.
We ran whole lot at 30psi and as you can see slow trip. I doubt it would be much quicker without the van.
