yes, 2 tanks, but only registers as one. As @rags said, it pumps from one to the other automatically. Our 2017 holds 137l, my warning light comes on at different stages, depends if you have been towing, cruising or putting the boot into it. - seems to adjust to driving style at the time, normally comes on with roughly 17-20l left, but they are all different :)

I thought they pump from both like prado dose well theres only one guage but it would be good if light came on when the smallar tank kicks in and gauge read the smallar tank like the prado dose with second tank thanks @Dean81
Waiting to get my tow hitch sorted so i can drag van to Ballarat its all up hill from here with one quite long climb a few ks long as the ultimate tow test around melbourne
Booked in at Wye River on the G.O.R for labour day weekend i havent as yet took van along the G.O.R so that will be good twisty.. turny bit up and down too

I just treat it as one 137L tank, fills through one and fuels through one :)

In Qld you pay a premium to drive a V8 (a tax by any other name)

How registration is calculated
In Queensland, the vehicle registration fee is currently charged according to the number of cylinders a vehicle has. Vehicles are grouped together for this purpose, with the main cylinder groups being 2, 4, 6 and 8 cylinders.
Same in SA

Tow test today was going to Ballarat but a more realistic test was up the Hume hwy as ballarat is all up hill i know the car will pull van up anything but for a real test hume was the go
Did 360ks up to Euroa and back and went to farmers market at Avanel car went soooooo good very happy with it @rags i must say i have 2 car seats for the kids in prado i carnt realy fit between them i can but no way can i put on seat belt can only last half hr squashed in there but in cruiser i easy fit between seats could go to nsw in the back between the seats .... more boot space more leg room in front ..... no hill came close to slowing me down and im getting similar figures that i get in prado with prado working very hard so far im happy
Time will tell but out of all cars i could have picked this seems the strongest and powerfull
The bigger the van the bigger fule bill too
I only have the standed suspension but seems to be ok for now

How did you solve the tow hitch height issue? Close up pic?

Your suspension will probably be good for a good few years as I doubt it ever carried much more than a couple of bums on seats knowing its history, certainly on a winner I reckon.

Ill admit its a nice looking unit sitting there on the beach @Bluey .... but its no Nissan tho, is it ??? Kinda like either Elle McPherson or your Nanna on the beach really, both rather lovely, but very different at the same time :boink:

So when you moving up here ???? Bring your surf board when you do.
Soon enough. Ill whack some legs on @blueys surfboard and we can use it as a BBQ table. @Bluey only wants it because its the best example of epoxy lam beech timber mini mal ever seen ... but unfortunately @blueys skill set isnt high enough to qualifying him to ride it

Now i could bye alloys but very expensive and i have rims why not make them black so do i sand blast then paint them or just get them powder coated but coating is harder to repaire as for painting can be touched up m.mmmm
Tyres off tyres on plus painting or coating its still gunna cost but less than alloys
Powder coating is only ok till the first chip. My brother sand blasted and painted alloy rims on his Fiat X19, and they came up very well and were pretty durable too

I quiet like your current rims, they suit the car colour wise. You could easily get current GXL rims very cheap, for less than those black steelies. Heaps of folk ditch them off their new cars, particularly 70 series for flashier looking sports rims. Paint them up, alloy and they look quiet nice

Hey @Bluey why not paint them brown to match the rust in the cruiser from your beach drive, a Fiat X19 @Crusty181 yiur family has some strange buying habits, but the painted wheels wouldn’t have done much turning on one of them lol
Bertone design limited model, worth many cents more than the production run offerings ... a touch of Lamborghini right here in Melbourne
