Hi Brenton , it looks like a good trip up to DIP and by the sounds of it the Jeep ate it up, not sure my Prado would do it so easy.
The mods look good, just showed the wife the pics including the r- ulphostering the lounge, like it.

Have you just connected the HWS to the main tank ? A second tank would be good then it you could have one for showering and another for general use. Also a purpose made shower tent of the side would be good, (I've got an idea in the head)

Regarding the fridge I have got this Waeco on the radar as a direct replacement for the 3way, https://www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/dometic-waeco-coolmatic-crx110-upright-built-in-fridge ( tent world seems cheapest on the net and you can pick up at Brendale for convienence).
I must get into mine and tick of the wish list which is pretty much like your mods list.

I gave my mate a fair bit of slack as the Jeep pulled the van up there then he got stuck in his 200 series 4.5 D4D V8 straight after me and was not towing hahaha. The 35" tyres probably help.

ohhhhh brave man telling the truth about 200's................ plenty of cruiser lovers will be up in arms shortly.........

Hey Rags, I was lucky enough when I bought my van it had 2 tanks. Seperate fillers but they are both plumbed in parallel with taps to turn one on and one off or both on. So I installed a Shurflo pump and replaced the hand pump with a mixer tap from bunnings. At first I just had cold water running to it. When I installed the Truma hot water system I used all John Guest fittings and ran the hot line from the pump side up through the heater and back to hot water side of mixer and also ran hot and cold lines to the external shower. Not sure on the size of the tanks I think they look around 80L or so. I am guessing I have about 160L of water now which will be good as am off to Fraser for a week over Easter. I have 3 of the 20L collapsible Jerry cans I bought from Aldi years ago that work great so I just keep them in the car and fill them when I get the opportunity and have a little pump I use to pump from them back into the tanks.

I am using one of the Joolca Ensuites, they are unreal mate. So easy to put up and pack down. They have a cutout in the back where you can unzip and get your hand out to turn the taps on and feed the shower head through so I just made sure my external shower was the perfect height for the cutout. I like it as I have the toilet in one side and shower in the other. It was a hit with the Mrs.

Joolca Ensuite here

I would love the compressor fridge prior to Easter but budget wise don't think I will. I am getting married this year so all money going towards the wedding. I have a 40L engel as well which lives in the jeep.

Don't mistake the Prado mate I had a 120 series with the 1kz diesel prior to the jeep and the thing was a work horse, you would easily tow up the beach. I have a mate with a 120 series petrol who has towed a much heavier van then mine to Fraser and up through Indian head and also all around Moreton they are very capable and under rated rigs.

I will take some more pics of inside with all of my switches and strip lighting I have installed as well and upload them.
