Well I got two new receivers from Jayco under warranty. I have fitted them and programmed them up as I want them bar the light in the awning roll.

I cannot get the all OFF function to work, anyone have any idea on how this works or how to do it? Manual for the switches would be ideal, but I am having difficulty getting these from Coast to Coast RV (distributor)...
Hi Hubble,
I have redone all my switches in the van.
To get them all to turn off, you need to program each light with the off switch. So in other words as you program the light for on via a switch, you also program it to turn off by the off switch.

I hope that makes sense, if not let me know, I also have the program sheet for the lights.

Hey guys,

I am having A LOT of drama with the wireless lights in the new Starcraft. In the last week a few of the channels on each receiver have been lit up all the time. This means that when the switch is turned on, the lights turn on for about one second then go off. If you push the OFF button, on channel turns on then off again.

Very frustrating. I now have four channels on the blink and have next to no lights working in the van. Anyone know anything about how to reset these things. I have tried everything in the paperwork that came with the van, but nothing has worked...

If the green light is constantly on follow these steps.
1. Disconnect wiring from black box
2. Press the button and hold it in on the problem relay.
3. Reconnect wiring and it should flash red a couple of times and green light should be off. If it doesn't reset relay is buggered hope it helps.

I'm rather glad ours have a simple on/off switch.

What a pain to have to program them.

At least they're good with warranty items....you can have hours of fun reprogramming them every time they fail!

Seriously, good luck with them.

The sphere wireless light controller has a maximum current rating on each circuit. Low and behold, I found the current exceeded the maximum rating of the controller for 2 of the circuits!

I see what you mean about current per channel. The one that always fails first it the one with the spot light style LEDs over the kitchen. Going to get a tong tester to check the current.

Hi all we have just done our first free camp on this trip so no 240v tonight.
There is no power to the sphere light unit on 12v, but all of the other manual switches work fine,so any ideas of a fuses etc would be appreciated Pete

Are you able to access your main Sphere controller? Are these the manual switches your referring to? When you manually push the buttons on the main Spheers receiver ,do the green LEDs illuminate?. There is a fuse in the Stec that supplies power to the Sphere controller. I had to reprogram mine soon after we bought our caravan and it's been good ever since.
Do the push buttons on the remote switches temporary illuminate when you push them? They may have flat batteries in them.
Cheers

Hi Nick the sphere unit now works, I have disconnected the plug in and out but only if i double hit the buttons on the unit, then occasionally it will work from a close wall switch so im guessing it has to be the lower voltage 12.6 v is making the difference, ill let you know tomorrow when im back on 240v thx Pete

Not flat batteries in the transmitters if only the close ones work?

Got up in the morning and everything is working normally so im guessing it is a low voltage issue and when the solar gave the battery a hit it all came good, also all good on 240v so battery is back uo to 13.5 volts,
This is all a bit strange bit i will try again another day, thanks for all of the ideas Pete

Greg's diagnosis is wrong ie. if the green light on the controller stays on and the lights turn on and off again when the light switch is pressed. Then the channel on the unit has gone into pulse mode from the normal mode which is toggle.
To fix disconnect the plug from the unit and while plugging the unit back in hold down the button for the channel til the LED flashes orange and release the button.
The LED green light should now be off and the lights will function as normal. Repeat for other channels if they have the same symptoms.

We have had issues with ours as well. Maybe someone can help?? The lights have taken to turning themselves on. The van always has full batteries as it is permanently connected to solar. For no apparent reason the light above the front bed and the kitchen lights turn on and then I can’t turn them off. I have to reprogram them, any clues???

Cheers

Do they turn on when the van is stationary or travelling ? And will they turn off with the "OFF" button ie All OFF
