Advice:- test and make sure everything works (taps, stove, oven, toilet, everything, etc. etc)
make sure everything opens and closes, all doors, draws and outside boots.

take your time, you've paid for the service, make sure you get it.

Dean, I noticed the handle next to the front door is different to previous vans. Is this a change you requested or have Jayco simply decided to change the handle to something different?

@Aussiejet this was a surprise to me too (didn't order it). Looks pretty cool, still has the built in light too. Jayco is just getting a bit more modern finally. Hopefully it's UV stable unlike the old white ones.

Hi Dean,
Our dealer has said that each batch of 18's have slight differences they've found.
What differences have you noticed on yours from what you expected?
I know the outside handle near door has changed and I see from the last couple of vans that none have covers over the gas bottles. Any changes inside?

@Aussiejet will have a look in more detail this weekend. Been flat out with work this week. Was told the gas bottle covers only come on the non-extended draw bar vans.
Mine also came with a fresh water drinking tap, with water purifier under the sink.
Led light strips to the dinette and kitchen bench.

I am heading in to day to the caravan show to get our first expanda ordered. i am hoping for the deal of the century in there so i am up reading what you guys have said about the new 18' it is a great choice to meet our needs. lots of very valued information to take in with me. can i ask as a percentage what the discount was from full retail? need a good benchmark to achieve today.
I was sad to see our swan of 5 years go but now there is a large void needing to be filled and cant wait.

hi 17triton, i also have a triton how do you go towing did you need the WDH? tritons have a big ass. my swan was so small i didnt know it was there.

@Sturah you really have to get as many extras as possible as the price won't change a lot. They always have room to move, but I found it to more successful on the last day, and being end of month, you may be able to twist there arm a little more.

Yes mate they do have a big ass. We use a wdh and find it takes a lot of the pitching or bouncing out of the ride. Just upgraded the suspension too makes it better again.
