Hot Water Repair Agent - QLD

Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone knows of a repair agent in QLD (near brisbane) for the hot water units. My parents in laws hot water works perfectly on gas but on 240v it most of the time doesn't want to work hence they have stopped using it on 240v for safety reasons. We believe the issue is either the switch or thermostat but unsure.

Can anyone recommend any agents at all? Or does anyone know anyway that you can test the switch or thermostat? Their van is a 17foot Jayco Discovery.

We had the same problem with ours.

The switch just pulls out but you have to feed out the right-angled terminals carefully.

A replacement switch was $43.50 from Jayco in Cairns or a similar one from Jaycar was $3.50.

It took about 5 mins!

We now are keeping a spare.

My switch has had enough to, we've been using gas since but I should get a switch too I guess :violin:

Hey guys, the switch may be a PITA to get out but as @crystal674 says 5 minutes (maybe 10 ) and $3.50 from Jacar and job done. I posted here with @brookes2622 when he was having problems as I had not long been through the same thing.
