Ive got a Spot Gen3 and a Spot Connect which are both personal satellite EPIRB type devices for remote travel and hiking etc. Spot also have a satellite tracker specifically for asset protection. Spot is a subscription based service, but in comparison to the Alko device its significantly cheaper to purchase ... Ive not looked at the ongoing rates of Alko.
