This check
List was done as we picked our van up and only had it for 3 days before we headed off so was pretty busy.

I fitted a slide out BBQ as we got a hatch only put in and installed the old type swift BBQ with the red lid.
Replaced the pig tails with stainless braided hose as on previous van had one crack at the bottle end.
We have a 8 month old baby and we weren't sure where he was going to sleep and l installed a hallway baby gate at the end bed to stop him falling out.
Spare wheel I drilled a hole threw the exposed thread and installed a padlock.
We were new to the toilet so just a memory jogger on what we needed.
Water tank cleaner I settled with a in line filter
Mirrors I brought from super cheap the Aussie truck mirror type as the cheap clip on ones would always move and sometimes blow the mirrors in.

My boys are old enough to fall out of bed

No worries a grey nomad I use to work with suggested it would be a good idea to lock the spare and also my brother In-law got his spare knocked of the roof of his 4WD.
