WTB: Jayco Expanda 6 berth

Hi.
We are a family of 6 (kids are 10, 7, 6 and 3 yo) looking at spending 3 months (Jul - Oct 15) travelling around Australia (East Coast, across to Darwin, down the Centre etc). We have been looking at the 21 ft Expanda or possibly the 18 ft Expanda (unfortunately the 3D images on the Jayco website for this one doesn't show the right van). We are novices to the caravan world so not sure if there are any other options that would suit our requirements but we are open to suggestions/offers to sell.

Welcome to the forum @k4kazza, I am not much help (all kids grown up) but we have a few members with 4 children who will offer advice. Whatever advice you get it will cost you as these guys are great at helping you spend your cash.

We have 4 kids we got a Starcraft 17" I would look at toilet/shower Van, we wanted the separate beds if needed so got the extra bunk instead. Doing 3am runs can get annoying.
Will the kids me ok sharing a bed? We got sick of the twins kicking each other and separated them in this trip.

We liked the fact the Starcraft we can leave all the beds setup although a lot less space then a expanda

Maybe hire one for a short trip and see what works. Triple bunks in expanda are good for separating while sleeping. Although our kids can sit up and read in there ones
