Water pressure

Hi all, I should really know this....
I find that when on mains pressure in a van park my water pressure in the sink is crap, we have a 12v pump with the battery set up and when in the bush free camping the pressure from the tank with the pump is great, why is it crap on mains? is there a valve or something i have missed?

Yip - there is a mains pressure regulator so that the mains pressure doesnt blow all your plumbing.... It is a common issue though that these dont operate as they should..

Our van is currently in for first service - Standard items on the first service list:
1. replace mains pressure regulator with one that works.
2. replace both bed end with ones that dont have bubbles.

and that fixed the problem? i thought we would wait until after the long weekend and easter to find anymore issues before sending in for warranty

We have had the mains pressure regulator replaced once by Jayco and still having the same problem. Going back again.
