Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip away for July holidays because hubby was unable to get any time off work until September so we haven't been able to use our new van. However, we have had the bed ends out to season them and we have had a bit of rain during that time. We had water leaking into the rear underbed storage area. It seems to be coming through the seal/hinge area at the bottom of the bed. We imagine this won't be a problem once our privacy screens are attached but we will still get Jayco to look at it at the first service. Wondering if anyone else with 18 foot and rear bed has had this problem and if so how it was fixed.

We had the same problem on our 16 footer and found the rear bed bottom piano hinge was not sealed on the bottom of the hinge and caused water to run in underneath and run down into the rear storage area. We had the bed removed and the hinge sealed and refitted all under warranty. One thing we done at the time was we wound the jockey wheel up at the front so the water would not run in. Also I have noticed other vans are not sealed on the rear hinge. Good luck

We find the same, but when driving in the rain. When we open the van to set up again, there is water in the front store and leaks in the cupboard next to it and the floor. Not significant, but annoying. Once set up, no leaks
