I finally get to post a few pix from WA. These are of Dale's Gorge in Karijini National Park.

DSCI0371.jpg DSCI0405.jpg DSCI0397.jpg DSCI0393.jpg DSCI0391.jpg DSCI0390.jpg DSCI0387.jpg DSCI0386.jpg DSCI0379.jpg DSCI0408.jpg The falls are Fortescue Falls where a week ago a man died as he tried to stop his 7 year old son from falling. The boy is in a critical condition in hospital. It is not hard to imagine some one falling as in one photo there is a guy wandering across the top of the falls to get to a place where he jumps into the pool below.

But that aside, Karijini NP should be on everyones bucket list. The scenery is magnificent.

Hi Shane, yeah roof holding fine but other problems appearing. Have had a heater element replaced under warranty and have reported ripples appearing in the fibreglass side just next to the heater. Dust getting in, floor creaking and flexing, water pump noisy and not much pressure, water has trouble draining away, the list goes on. Maybe I'm nit picking but I will definitely be pulling the water piping out and checking it out when I get home. So far I have purchased 10 hose clamps and fitted to water hoses to stop them coming off and there are a few more to do yet. But what the heck, we have had a great time and are on our way back now having just recrossed the Nullarbor and are in Ceduna our first caravan park for 5 nights.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your trip. hopefully the faulty items can all be fixed without too much drama. I also have wondered about all the hoses without clamps on them and shall now rectify that problem as well. Our 14 is in for it's first service at the moment, as soon as we get it back we are going to try and fit in a few northern NSW weekend trips before xmas.

Look forward to a full report when your back Chartrock. :o
When we where away on our Alice trip I ended up using cable ties on the water hoses but probably should replace them with clamps although the ties are working for now. Sorry to here about the other issues though, is it still under warranty?

It doesn't seem that long ago that you left!!

Yeah CD, it's still under warranty until 4-11-11 and we will be home around the 1-11-11 so will be stopping at the dealer on the way through. It's been two and a half months since we left and we will be in Sydney this coming Sunday for a few days before the run up the coast to home. Stop at Cowra tomorrow to see the Japanese garden and POW site.

Don't know how I can report on 3 months in a short enough report not to bore everyone but still show enough of about 3000 photos, :violin: half of them are probably of flowers. Normally I would not be slightly interested in flowers but each time we found a new one I found myself taking multiple photos just to make sure I got a decent one. I was taking them with a $69 camera from Aldi but my good lady gave me a new Nikon for my birthday so from the end of September the quality improved. :thumb:.

Looking forward to getting back to normal with the forum.

Choosing Pics is a tough one especially when there is so many and I know what you mean. I think I had around 800 from our central Oz trip so I dont envy you having to choose but very jealous :couch2:

Here are a few of the wildflowers we have seen. Some are orchids and are tiny, less than a cm across. Please don't ask me to name them as I have no idea of most of them. I have many more different types but it takes forever to load with mobile internet in country towns (Cowra tonight).

good shots - fairly sharp and good depth of field for such small flowers.
we got back from WA oct last year, and had heeeeeeeeaps of wildflower photos to sort through....however, it was one of reasons we went over at that time of year
