Hi ,we bought a 14.44.5 caravan and they said the tyres would be filled with nitrogen and i was wondering how availible is it at service centers and is there a cost to top up the tyres? can there be a mix of normal air and nitrogen ? any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks

Yep. Don't worry about the nitrogen business. If it was significantly better for day to day driving (as against car racing) they'd be flogging it at every servo. Good old air is 80% nitrogen anyway. What you do need to focus on is correct tyre pressures. Many caravanners run tend to run under inflated and some think it gives softer ride. About 40psi is more reasonable. Check out the threads on this subject for some tips on getting the pressures correct.
