Tweed Heads
This is our third time here. It is a very specious and well laid out caravan park. The amenities are nice, clean and modern. Being so close to the river there are a lot of Mosquitos. We have tried all repellents and Bushmans is the only one that works for us in this area.
The pool area is specious and the pool itself is great with a water slide for the little ones, and the big kids to, but be warned the heavier you are the faster you go and the corners are sharp, my husband had a experience on it, an experience to remember!
Also there are no grass sights, just concrete slabs so it gets a little hard to peg down the annex.
There is a large shopping Centre near by about a 5 min drive called Tweed City, there is a cinema, coles, woolies, big W food court,Kmart ect.
This time of year we have been paying $196 p/w. Over all we thought it was a great caravan park and would come back to stay again
