Can anyone tell me why jayco don't do the Tregg hitch on the Caravan models from the factory?
Have asked the salesman at the Dealers & they couldn't tell us either.

Can it be put on after, or will this void insurance?
have had 2 previous Jaycos with Tregg coupler as we do go off-road some times.

Thanks

Jayco offer the Trigg coupling as an option on their vans. This is similar to thr Tregg coupling. I have the Trigg on my currnet expanda & also had one on my Eagle. They look a little more substantial to the Tregg but maybe others on here may have more info on that. I have never had any problems with ours & we do quite a lot of outback travel.
Google the names..... there is plenty of info on the web.

cheers,

We've always had a trigg coupling on ours and have never had a problem at all.
I dont really see a difference between the tow hitches as they are both basically designed to do the same job.
Alot of people change coupling after purchase but it would be best to contact the state road authority to make certain its is legal first.
