Suggestions for parks in south queensland

Hi All, We are in the midst of planning a getaway from Melbourne over Christmas
and i was hoping i might get some suggestions on two parks/places we cant decide
between.

The first is Poona Palms, just south of maryborough and the second is Tin can
bay tourist park. Both the parks we have chosen are reasonably priced for
season, however one we cant book until October. The caravan parks report site
gave both a great review.

Soooo, has anyone here been to either, or both, and could you recommend one over
the other?

Can't help with info on those parks, Troy but welcome to the forum. I'm sure it wont be long before you get an answer.

Thanks for that. I thought i was a member, having had an expanda for a few years, but had to sign up when i tried to make a post. Anyways, if anyone is interested i have a family blog, detailing all of my expanda mods, car fuel economies and issues, and most importantly trip logs and park reviews

Hi Troy,
my parents used to live at Tin Can Bay, the park was around the corner from their house. it was a clean looking park, haven't stayed there, but it was the better one in town and think it would be still, don't think you will be disappointed in it, not sure about Poona Palms!
