A modification which I have just completed was to shorten the AL-KO stabilizer legs. It was only rarely that I had ever been able to set either the front or rear legs vertical. Any parking site with any sort of slope or event ground meant that the legs could only be set at an angle of either 30 degrees (worse case - which quite often happened, even at commercial CGs) or 60 degrees to the horizontal. If the legs installed on my van had been 50-55mm shorter the legs would have been able to be set vertical. Maybe my TL van was fitted with Outback legs?
I have now shortened the legs by 55mm. A nice little DIY job that took me a couple of days, using only hand tools. Great now being able to set the legs vertical.

Something I also need to do but too lazy, I do wonder why they fit long legs when clearly they’re not ever going to fit in the vertical position on flat ground?
