I have 2008 Sterling which has the spare wheel mounted to the rear wall. I don't have any problems with it at the moment, but I intend to do a lot more dirt road travel than what has occurred in the past.

Will corrugations be too much for this type of mounting, and if so, should I look at a 'winch underneath' or 'upgrade to bumper bar' type mount.

Regards

Not much experience with wall mounted spares from forum members @ytt105 but if it is mounted solidly through the wall with a decent backing plate on it I would imagine that, like the properly mounted bike racks, it would be quite OK. If you are worried then maybe switch to a bumper mount or a wind up type but that would be a personal choice.
