Hi all

Bought the Q220 yesterday for the van and thought we'd give it a go at home first. We've done potato bake, steak, sausage, bacon & eggs and now a baked lamb....happy with results but gee it smokes! Does any one elses do this and is it normal? Not used to cookin with lid down and not too keen to cook under the annex due to the smoke, am I doin anything wrong?

Cheers.

Just the way they are unfortunately mine smokes when you are cooking on the grill, not as bad when using the hot plate and barely at all when doing a roast in a baking dish on the trivet

We have a Q100 and the only complaint from my wife is the amount of smoke it gives off at times. We have a partially enclosed outdoor area at home and it's not great to use the Weber there. Haven't used it inside our annexe, and unlikely too.
