At handover it was recommended to us to take the rose off the holder and leave it on the shower floor. This was mainly to prevent the hose scratching or marking the wall.
I have a foam tile on the floor, so it's pretty well protected.

Never took ours out of the holder in Panda, only ever found it on the floor twice, but yes did end up with some marks on the wall from the hose.
New van has a bigger shower rose, it was recommended to put it on the floor, usually wrap it or sit it on a mat

We have Velcro straps that we wrap around it whilst its in its holder. Stops it popping out.

They told us to take it out and put it on the floor. I didn't like that idea as it would move around and mark the floor

I bought a length of black foam pipe insulator, from the big green box warehouse, cut it lengthways and slip it over the hose, works a treat

In the silverline mrs mfexpanda made a soft fluffy lined bag to stop the shower rose and hose scratching the shower walls see photo

Mine has never come out of its holder while traveling. But trying to keep the toilet roll on the holder thats a different story! haha:oops:

Have the same issue with ours........ toilet roll that is o_O

Never had a problem with the rose falling out but did end up with a few scratches on the wall of the previous van... Sorted that out with the new van by wrapping the shower curtain around it.
