Selling kakadu annexe - advise needed

Hi all,

I was after some advise about selling a second hand but immaculate Kakadu annexe. It came with our 2011 16.49-1 Outback which we finally brought home today! Yay!!!

It's a great annexe, just not what we are after. So we are looking to sell it but wanted some advise regarding price and the best place to advertise an annexe for sale. Also keen to find out if any Expanda Downunder members are looking for an annexe.

It is a Kakadu vinyl annexe, in amazing as new condition. The previous owners must have only used it once or twice. The long wall has a large window in centre with a door either side of window, and the 2 short walls both have large windows. Also has draught skirt and heavy duty mesh screens in windows.

Hi Lara, yesterday must have been exciting for you, don't forget some pics. Annexes are around $2.5k, but I'd give Kakadu a call and ask how much a new one would cost, you will then have an idea on price. I would start off advertising on the Expandas "for sale" section, then there's Gum Tree or Trading Post which seem to sell well. A few pics would benefit you as well. Good luck! What sort of annexe are you after? It might pay you to modify the Kakadu?

It's a great annexe but we are after something different. We would prefer clear PCV windows, and the door on the front short wall with extended porch area.

We will be getting another annexe. Have already had Joe from Australia wide annexes go and measure it up when it was at the service centre, and he has given us a quote. We're heading to the Newcastle Supershow this weekend to see the ultimate annexe set up before we commit. However any new annexe is soooo expensive so were trying to work out how much we should advertise the Kakadu annexe for. Won't to make it a good purchase for someone, not too much, but it'll be a little so etching to put towards the new annexe.

I can't take any photos till the weekend. It will be living in storage as we don't have anywhere at home to put it. We have it in our rear lane way at the moment while we fill if with all our stuff then Sarurday will move it to storage. Then I can roll out the awning and put up the annex for photos.
Should've seen the council garbage truck squeezing past our Expanda in the Lane way this morning, jeez, it was close. My 2 girls were like the expanda police, making sure the garbos didn't put a scratch on it. Will be a relief when moved to storage, but sad that I can't just go out the make and admire it.
