Running Creek Campground is located on the banks of the Howqua River. Access is via the Jamieson Woods Point rd approx 25km from Mansfield TR after crossing the Howqua River.
This Campgound could get busy in the peak season or when the weather warms up, it is a first in best dressed basis for campsites.

This area is also popular with 4wd's and dirtbikes as there is plenty of oppurtunities to head into the surrounding forest ares using the campground as a base.Fishing is also popular in the Howqua River.

It is approx 10km drive into the campground off the main rd which is narrow in places so care needs to be taken when towing in or out of the there with a trailer on as passing spots are limited.
There are trees scattered throughout the campgound so a spot was chosen away from the risk of a falling limb. There are spots to choose in open areas and a few spots along the banks of the river also. Caution is required after or during rain.

Long drop toilets are also available.
