HI Hardman,
It depends on what style of Expand-ing you plan on doing - for bush camping they're of limited use due to the need for a 3kVa generator (they're usually too much for a 2kVA). For powered sites they're ok for all seasons except for cold winters due to the associated condensation build up due to the inside/outside temperature difference. The aircon does struggle when it's 40degC+ outside.
