After visiting the Caravan & Camping Show on the weekend I have a few projects to get down now.

At the show I brought a

1. 12volt water pump
2. New tap to replace the pump style one
3. Axis dvd/cd head unit

I have ordered a Kogan 24" led with 12volt adapter
I have also just picked up a pair Alpine 300w 3 way 6x9's

I have already replaced the tap and fitted the pump, so no more hand pumping water. For the pump I took the power from the led light over the sink which as luck would have it had some extra plugs for me to use. I then just ran the wiring with the original wiring and into the wall cavity. I also added a pump switch so it can be turned off while travelling in case of a leak(I would not want the tank full of water pumped into the van).

So next is the fitting of the speakers.
I will up load photos soon.

Next week the head unit will go in as I have to pull the van out and raise the roof. So I can move the wardrobe door down to give me the room for the head unit which will go in the top of the wardrobe. During the week I might also change the soap tray door over to a proper drawer.

Well the head unit is now in I will take pics tomorrow. The sound is great from the speakers and I have connected it up to new the 24" Kogan tv. It all works a treat. Tomorrow I will wire in the 12v socket for the tv and run the RCA video out of site so nice and neat. Also the new draw will go in, in replace of soap tray thing.

The Tv is done I have decided to mount it on and tv bracket on the double wall between the bunk and wardrobe. The bracket allows the Tv to be see from every seating position. It all also has a quick release system so that the Tv can be removed at night if someone is sleeping in the Bunk. All works well on 12volt as well. The flip down soap tray is also now a full size useable draw. Why they ever used the flip down tray in my van I have no idea, when a full size draw fits without any trouble.

I just have to work out what to do with the wardrobe now. I have looked at those metal slide baskets from bunnings others have used but the wardrobe in my van is only 472mm deep and the only draws I could find were 545mm deep so they will not fit. I may have to build in shelves instead.
