Just Browsing Recent buyers, what's your sign off involved?

Would like to know what people have had to do to approve their vans after ordering but before build. 3 years ago with the last expanda after ordering etc we received a drawing with specs to approve. The drawing had all our little mods like second gas point , extra power point and annex light. All the options appeared as expected because there was a drawing specific to our particular build.

This time around theirs no drawings and you sign off to a list. I modified a drawing and submitted it but I don't think that went through to Jayco. Curious to know what others have had to do?

Had a drawing and a list......then another drawing and adapted list that we signed off on.

Hi Achjimmy, just to let you know Jayco Ballarat showed us drawings with our specs and additions. I keep staring at them and this forum hoping it will get here faster!

Yes we have had drawings both times. Lucky because factory had left of some significant items!

No drawing for us, just a list - interesting in one side it said 19 inch TV - on the other side it said 19.5 inch TV. We ended up being supplied with an 18.5 inch TV!
But - correct sized TV supplied last week......

I should add that the only real changes were extended draw bar, 16 inch wheels, Drifter control panel, leather.

I got to see a plan of the outlay of my caravan, was very quick and had little time to make changes to plan.

We signed off on the Jayco build drawing with all the extras noted on the page. That was about a bit less than a year ago.

We only got a list as well, but we insisted on a drawing, which we eventually got, but it was after the cutoff to make changes.

We thought this process could have been much better.

This was earlier this year.

We signed off on a drawing they added the extra 12v and 240v via pen beforehand.
Then we collected minus window

We also signed off on list and drawing showing location of extras. We'll wait and see if they got it right.
