Hi All, well its raining alot in Eden today! i have noticed that on the bed ands where the end of the hinge is it lets the water run in down the side of the bed end rather than it running down the privacy screen away from the canvas. I have posistioned a couple of small plastic plates under there on an angle to guide the water out is there any better fix for this that anyone has done , does this happed to all?

So are you saying water is running around the side of the hinge?
Or is there a spot mid point where the water runs through the hinge?

Yeah... I think I got around it with the waterproof bed ends. They do not protrude past the end hinge so it gets caught before hitting the canvas.

Hi, I might have a solution that one of the jayco dealers suggested. Apparently there should be more of a lean for the hard shell roof away from the body of the camper and this can be done by simply unscrewing the gas struts that hold the roof open lower about a centimetre or whatever amount works to get more of a slope on the lid. It is a design issue as in its original position was letting water pool around the hingeline instead of flowing forward away from the camper.

I did confirm that you can drill new holes down further inline with the metal strip where the original screws are and there is no problem with integrity etc.

Hope this helps someone, I'm gonna give it a go on mine as my front canvas always gets wet.

Cheers
Mike
