We've just ordered a new Journey Outback DX, we've originally upgraded the package to include a second 160ah solar panel giving a total of 320ah and a second 100ah gel battery (apparently Ritar brand?) giving a total of 200ah of battery capacity. Looking at the specs of the J35B management unit I can't see how given the charging output of the unit the batteries will ever get fully charged to 100%? I'm far from being any expert but this surely can't be good for the longevity of the batteries?

j35b specs look ok to me. 14.4v bulk charge (don't confuse this with the lower final float voltage) and 15 amps max charge current will be adequate for 200ah although 20 amps would be better. I would check with jayco regarding your solar size as unit spec says 300watt max solar.
