Hi Expanda Fans

I Plugged the Expanda in today to get the fridge cold etc for the weekend coming up, I found that the power wasn't getting through. I thought the lead must be faulty, so changed lead to another, still didn't work, tried an appliance in the end of the lead and that worked fine.

I believed the issue must be in the van, checked the circuit breaker etc, they were fine. next thing to do was check the inlet itself, I removed the 4 screws and found the multi plug had come away from the housing, plugged it back in and all good, funny how nothing works when not connected!

I thought I would share as this could be a real pain in the ar$e when on the road.
(I don't condone playing with 240 volt but I was a refrigeration mechanic in a previous life!)

Cheers Greg

Mmm.... It's seems most of the electrical gear is "plug and play" in the caravans. Or should I say "plug and re-plug" after a bumpy road? Call me old school, but I prefer a twisted capped connection. Great tip greggels.:thumb:

The cables for this plug and play must add a bit of expense to the electricals.
I can only assume they save on full time qualified electricians.
