Australia Day Long Weekend saw us staying in the Expanda at Port Broughton Caravan Park on SA's Yorke Peninsular. We have been here many times over many years and always enjoy going back. Sites are a good size here, altghough the place is very popular in holiday periods. The sites are now fine crucher dirt, some with shade cloth pads for annexes. Unfortunately the owners had to do away with the grass during the water restrictions and drought. The park is still very clean and tidy though.
Ammenities are plentiful and clean, there is a small play grund, undercover pool and jumping pillow to keep the young and young at heart happy. Pedal go karts are available for hire from the office.
The jetty is a 10min walk away, although our luck was not happening on the fishing front.
This is certainly a park we will visit again for a weekend get away.
