Hi All,

I am wanting to mount a 150mm poly pipe under my van for poles etc.

Wondering if anyone is willing to share the method they have used to securely hand the pipe.

Any pics would be awesome.

Cheers,
Ash

For mine I just put in between the lift point and the mud flap using standard pipe clamps.

@Ben Sweetnam, that is the pole carrier and bracket that I have.

Struggling to figure out how to mount mine. I need to space it from the chassis rail as I need it to clear the water pipe.

Do you have a pic of the bracket mod you have done?

Ill try and climb under tonight and grab some photos for you - may be tomorrow night as im packing then to head off.... Stay tuned

I remember i put the flatbar bracket in my vice and bent one tab on each 90' to line up with the mounting point - then drilled and tapped a m6 at each end and then cable ties through the middle - ill get you the photos

No probs - if i had my time again i would probably go steel cable ties with some rubber protection on the pipe - my mate did that and is probably a bit more secure...

My GWT is similar and same position, I used metal batten straps off cross members , the save it from rocks I Tek screwed some 2mm alloy sheet across the front of the pipe, going by the numerous dents in it, good choice.

You can see in my last photos a long strip of rubber sitting of some angle infront as well..... I just looked at it again and notice a hole in the pipe.... time for some 100mph tape me thinks
