Plumbing Pipework

Can anyone see any issues with changing over the clear plastic water hose pipe that goes from water tank outlet to water pump inlet over to the 12mm semi-rigid black piping, the same that goes from the water pump outlet to all the taps. The clear looks to be about 15mm, not sure if going the smaller diameter will effect the ability of the pump to suck it up.

I would replace all the clear plastic pipe any day just to reduce the light onto the hose.

Hey @Paul75, the clear plastic tubing (both sizes) is available from Jayco in black also, I've been meaning to replace that myself.

No mate, it's different, like you said the tubing is probably 15mm OD (1/2" ID) and then you have the 1" ID for the filler lines, I've seen it at Jayco Newcastle but Caravans Plus would probably have it too as well as all the John guest fittings and tube.

Righto, maybe I should use that instead of the 12mm stuff cause then I can use the fittings that are already on there.
