17' Series Please help we are cold

Hi all, so last time we went away heater worked fine, went to turn it on just now and nothing no light coming on on the unit, tried batteries on remote just to rule that out but still nothing help it's soooo cold

I think depending on outside temp, if its below 3deg don't think they work that well or at all.
Have you checked fuses etc?

Ahhh.... But an air conditioner works very differently.

A blow heater uses electricity to heat an resistive element and simply blow air across it. Far more complicated is an airconditioner which is in effect a heat pump far better explained here than I can do.

In effect it moves heat from outside to the inside. If its too cold outside (and some air conditioners are better than other) there's not enough heat to 'move' inside.

Which is why I carry $15 blow heater!

Yeah as mentioned the Trumas don't really manage the cold to well I think most on here have reported it at some time. I find them bloody noisey too.

Get a mini blow heater from bunning $15. We ended up going with a eco threm water heater. Surprisingly works well. Not hot - not cold. Just nice for sleeping.
