17' Series Pebbly Beach - Yuraygir NP

Hi All,

Just bought a 17 foot Expanda - the second last 2015 model left in Australia apparently. Thanks to all for all the great info inside this forum!

We go to Pebbly Beach Campground in the Yuraygir National Park (on the beach in between Coffs Harbour and Grafton NSW Mid North Coast).

Those that have been there would know it has a shallow creek crossing with a fairly steep exit out of the creek into the camp ground.

Wondering if anyone has got their Expanda into the Camp Ground? I am after a bit of reassurance before giving it a go.

Haven't done it but interested in it if you are successful.

Been wanting to visit this area for ages.

Havent been there, but stayed at Wooli great place by river and free canoes let us know if you get in to pebble beach, might stay there next time we head north,

It takes a lot to get us beyond Bunjalung NP.

Have been going there for years and love it.

Meanwhile, we are planning another SA trip ....mainly Eyre Peninsular.

Visited there for the first time last year and loved it.

Any recommendations? Coffin Bay Area is a must and have been along the coast to Fowlers but had trouble finding places to stay as it was the whiting season.

I checked out Pebbly Beach in Jan. Just did a day trip there. There seemed to be a lot of caravans there. I too am concerned about the exit out of the creek. I have just ordered an 18.58-2 and would love to take it there so I will keep an eye on this thread! Let us know how you go!

Hi All,

Nothing to report as yet unfortunately. Was planning on heading to Pebbly for Easter but have to get a new engine in my Triton. Can you believe my 2014 MN Triton needs a new engine? Only done 75 000km. At least it is under warranty. Yes, I know it is a Mitsubishi. Talk about bad timing, the Panda won't be going anywhere this Easter!

My LIKE was really a "not like" @Dantheman , bugger of a thing to happen, what crapped out ??? at least they are coming to the party, have heard stuff just can't remember what the problem was..............................should be able to drool and stir up the CrustyCon @Crusty181 as he will be back online with piccies of his trip to annoy us all stuck at home.
