Well now that we have our own section, I thought I would start by showing ours.
We decided in easter 2015 to update our existing Viscount seabreeze.

We had owned it for 6 years, and did quite a few mods to it to suit our travels. But the kids where getting older and both sleeping in swags so we didn't need a van with bunks anymore. Out comes a mate mobile and he starts searching away as we both said we wanted something with an island bed and separate shower/toilet, he showed us the 17.55.8 OB. it was exactly what we where looking for and after much searching through other manufacturers layouts we decided on the Jayco. Cleaned up the Viscount and it was sold within 2 weeks, so we where straight down to Bayswater Jayco to put our order in, now for the weight, we did option it up a bit with ESC, shelves to both wardrobes, no microwave for extra storage, 12v out let in bathroom, drifter control panel, second 100 ah battery, Picnic table, bike rack, extended draw bar, full annex and 150 w solar. We free camp most of the time so thought this was a good starting point, there have been several mods since we picked it up and still a few to be done.

We ordered our new van at the start of May 2015 and picked it up at the end of September, I was very happy to see they had done all the extras we asked for apart from fitting the 2 battery's under the L shape lounge, we even had an extra we weren't expecting
a handy tray on the draw bar.

Perfect for carrying firewood and rubbish. One of the first thing's to do was move the battery's from under the bed to under the L shape lounge to free up the storage.

Now that the battery was sorted I wanted to be able to carry 3 bikes on the Fiamma bike rack, so went to Bayswater Jayco and purchased another rail and support arm. I also wanted to be able to carry a couple of jerry cans for water as we free camp most of the time and often need more water, the jerry cans allow us to get water in town and top the tanks up, I do this by sitting the jerry can on top of my step ladder and using a siphon hose.

We wanted to add some stone protection for the front of the van and I came across a stone guard on a for sale page for a great price, turns out it was brand new never fitted and just a bit dusty from sitting in his shed for a few years, I tried to make it work with the original jerry can holder on the front but ended up removing it.

Finally have our van back from Bayswater Jayco, it's been there for 3 weeks for waranty repaires again. Still not all fixed but managed to get them to order parts and I will fit them myself.
