Ok A newbie question

Well yesterday we picked up our 16.49.2 and are really happy with it however during the handover the guy said something that I did not think about until afterwards. I have no idea about electrics at all so I ask, there are two power outlets next to where our aircon is plugged in, are these points 240v so take normal kettle or toaster or are they 12v meaning I need to get 12v kettle and so fourth.

I may have lots of silly questions like this form time to time sorry

Welcome borstalboy,
If the outlets look like 240v power points then they are 240v outlets and will only supply 240v when pluged into mains power via the outside inlet. 12v will be a cigarette lighter socket and will supply 12v when running on mains or off battery if you have one in your van.
